The First Group Match of Kunshan Minigolf League 2020 was Held.

On October 17, the first group match (Western Division) of Kunshan Minigolf League 2020 was held in miXc. Nearly 20 players from Qingyang Sub-district, Zhenchuan Sub-district, Tinglin Sub-district and Bailu Sub-district participated in the competition of the Division.

Many players had already arrived at the competition site for adaptive training before the competition began. The organizers arranged professional coaches to offer technical guidance and explain the rules to the players.

At 9 o'clock, the competition began officially. After the fierce competition (3 rounds * 9 holes, 27 holes in total), the final team and individual rankings of the Division were elected. Team 1 of Zhenchuan Sub-district won the team total score with 526 points, and Xu Chunhua (Team 1 of Zhenchuan Sub-district) won the women's individual total score with 81 points. Zhou Yuan (Team 1 of Qingyang Sub-district) won the first place in men's individual total score with 98 points.

The duration for the group match of this Division was 3 hours. As stipulated in the competition rules and regulation of Kunshan Minigolf League 2020, there would be the group matches of other three divisions. From November 14 to 15, the final of this competition would be held in Invengo Minigolf International club to elect the top 3 team and men's/women's individual awards.

Minigolf, emerged in the United States at the beginning of the 20th century, is featured by wide coverage, high involvement and strong interest, which is a popular sport in the world. In 2019, the 16th World Minigolf Championship was successfully held in Zhouzhuang Town, Kunshan City, which attracted wide attention at home and abroad. It was decided that Kunshan Minigolf League 2020 would be held to facilitate the publicity and promotion of minigolf. The League was undertaken by Kunshan Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, Kunshan Sports Federation and Suzhou Smart-putt Sports Technology Co., Ltd. and co-organized by Kunshan Minigolf Association (preparatory).
